Working with SecondWave
SecondWave Technologies Inc. provides audio transcription and archive organization. Sending an inquiry does not place an order. Before you pay, we confirm what you’ll receive, the recording limits, total price and currency, any applicable taxes, delivery date, revision allowance, and file-handling arrangements in writing.
What’s included
Business projects start at $249 USD for two episodes, $999 USD for ten, and $2,499 USD for thirty. Each episode can be up to 60 minutes long. Every package includes timestamped transcripts, SRT/VTT captions, and basic episode metadata. Batch and Archive also include summaries and an archive index. Longer recordings, difficult audio, translation, rush delivery, and full human review are quoted separately.
Transcription and review
Our base packages use AI transcription with formatting checks. Transcripts, timestamps, summaries, and speaker labels can contain errors; these packages do not include someone listening through and editing every word. Please send speaker names and any important spellings with your order. If you need a full editorial review, let us know before we quote. Automated output is not suitable for medical, legal, or other critical decisions without appropriate review.
Sharing your audio
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to share the recordings and have them processed by the agreed services. We confirm confidentiality, access, and deletion arrangements before transfer. Please keep recordings, payment details, and sensitive personal information out of the inquiry form.
Payment and changes
We send a hosted invoice or payment page after you accept the scope. Work begins once payment is verified and we have the required files and information. We agree any additional work and charges with you first.
Corrections and cancellations
You can request one round of corrections to formatting or the agreed deliverables within seven days of delivery. Full editorial review and new requirements are separate work. If you cancel before processing begins, we refund the service charge. Once work has started, cancellation and any charge for completed work follow the terms agreed in your order before payment. If we cannot deliver the agreed work, we’ll offer a revised scope you accept or a refund for the undelivered portion.
